Series A Heavy Duty units provide power capacity up to 835 kW or 1120 HP in 11 sizes from 400 to 24 with worm gear centers from 10cm to 61cm or 4" to 24". Motorized versions of all units are also available.
All units are fitted with high capacity tapered roller bearings for generous overhung loads, position action oil seals, oil level sight glass and drain holes. Flange mounted units with vertical downshaft have drywells fitted as standard to eliminate a head of oil on the low speed shaft seal and prevent oil leakage. Upper and lower speed shaft bearings are grease lubricated when drywells are fitted. All units can be supplied with holdbacks. Shaft extensions can be supplied with metric or inch dimensions.
