Akron Gear can manufacture internal or ring gears up to 36" in Outside Diameter and as course as 3 Diametral Pitch to AGMA 9 standards. In addition, module or metric tooling is in stock for pitches up to 8 Module.

Akron Gear has 3 Fellows gear shapers and can produce a gear up to a 5" face length.

Typical materials will be steel either using bar stock, rolled rings, or plate.
